CFMoto, a Chinese engine maker, plans to launch an all-new 693 cc parallel-twin engines series of models. Three distinct styles, Adventure, heritage, and Sports, will provide CFMoto 700CL-X. The bikes were released before their international release at the beginning of 2011 in the Chinese domestic market.
The CFMoto 700 CL-X Heritage, which follows 700 CL-X Adventure and 700 CL-X Sports, will be the first of its three versions in February. All three bikes are powered at a maximum of 73 bhp of maximum power at 8500 rpm and 68 Nm peak torque at 7000 rpm, by the same 693cc, liquid-cooled DOHC, parallel-twin engine.
Such bike units are built around an aluminum alloy frame with a 41 mm inverted KYB fork with adjustable rebound and compression, a 150 mm rotation, and a 150 mm rebound KYB single-stick with adjustable pre-load.
J J Juan 4 piston radial squashers with a front disc of 320 mm and a disk of 260 mm with Continental ABS are handleable for braking. Accessories including luggage, a diamond-stitched seat, bar-end safety and mirrors, rider apparel, and a range of lifestyle are also available.
The cruise control as well as a USB charging point is also included in the CFMoto 700 CL-X. Although CFMoto has announced operations in India, it was unable to scale operations in partnership with AMW, based in Bengaluru, with the pandemic stopping out dealer expansion plans at all events.
It weighs 16.5 kg, while a 6.7 kg aluminum alloy swingarm gives a dry weight of 183 kg to the 700 CL-X Family. The cycles are also fitted with a regular bug clutch that gives the clutch lever a light feel and reduces the talk of the rear wheel during the aggression. Two modes of riding are offered onboard: economics and sport.
A simple neo-retro style in the latest CFMoto 700CL-X series with a design language in the Husqvarna Svartpilen and Vitpilen family. CFMoto has also KTM and is sharing KTM, Kiska Design’s design center. The 799 cc, the KTM 790 Duke LC8 parallel twin, and KTM 790 Adventure are all solely produced by CFMoto. In reality, CFMoto ‘s adventure model is being finalized based on the same motor.
