The new M8 Coupe and 8 Series Grand Cup for the Indian Market were formally reported by BMW. On 8 May 2020, both cars will be sold in the region. The business listed flagship models last month announcing its presence in the country on its official website.
In India, both cars are almost started as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. The Grand Coupe BMW 8 Series and the M8 Coupe are available on a recently introduced Contactless Interface platform for retail use.
The 8 series line-up will rate above the 6 Series Gran Coupe, the latest BMW line-up models in BMW’s Indian market portfolio. There are two models-840i Gran Coupe and M8 Coupe-for the new BMW 8 Series.
All versions come with a variety of features and equipment, as well as certain extra sets. The company could sell the M8 Coupe a further bundle of driver and specification options.
A 3,0-liter 6-cylinder turbo engine will mechanically be supplied to the BMW 840i Gran Cup while a 4,4- liter V8 double-loaded turbo unit will be added to the M8 Cup. 335 bhp of power will be reached from 5,000 to 6,500 rpm by 3.0-liters, and the peak torque will be 500 Nm at 1,600-4,500 rpm.
The fuel factory comes with an optional 8-speed gearbox. The 2.4-liter twin-turbo-loaded V8 engine, on the other hand, will produce 625bhp and 750Nm when paired with an automatic 8-speed transmission. The xDrive all-wheel-drive system is available in the BMW M8 as standard.
The BMW 8 Series offers three different coupes, convertible, and gran coupe models globally. The four-door Gran Coupe and Coupe will be available to the Indian market. The convertible is expected to hit the shores of India later.
The grand coupe of the BMW 8 series will presumably be priced from can Rs 1.2 crores and a can Rs 1.5 crores, while the BMW M8 rivalry could be priced over a can Rs 2 crores.
