Mahindra has quietly begun the SUV at a launch price of Rs 13.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) after bookings are begun online for the BS6 XUV500. The W3 entry-level model and automatic features previously offered on the SUV have been discontinued.
Involved customers will reserve the SUV on the official website of the company with a token price of Rs 5,000. The new XUV500 BS6 Mahindra is available in four variations: W5, W7, W9, and W11 (O). The BS6 variant of Scorpio and Alturas G4 was released in India in addition to the recently announced XUv500 BS6.
Mahindra XUV500 BS6 Specifications
The overall look and feel of the SUV appear to be the same as the BS4 iteration. It continues to get bold chrome grate at the top, projector headlights with LED DRLs, diamond-cut alloy wheels, elegant tailgate with chopped tail lamps, spoiler at the rear, twin pipes, chrome-cutting at the side and much more. As per dimensions, the SUV is 4,585 mm wide, 1,890 mm width and 1,785 mm high and stands at 2700 mm wheelbase.
The SUV was not updated or changed inwardly by the same booth style that was used on the outgoing build. The SUV comes fitted with an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, electric sunroofs, keyless entrance and Go, automatic AC, leather seats, and an electrically controlled driver’s seat and much, much more.
Dual airbags, EBD ABS, split aid, rear traffic alarms, seatbelt recall, and speed warning are common features for safety purposes. The 2.2-liter mhawk diesel engine is upgraded to BS6 standards and is mounted under the hood of Mahindra XUV500.
